Absolute Elsewhere de Blood Incantation no se parece a nada que hayas escuchado antes. Pocos pueden reivindicar un hito sonoro tan fácilmente como el cuarteto de Denver. Con una duración aproximada de 45 minutos, las dos composiciones que componen este álbum son tan desconcertantes como atractivas, fusionando las inclinaciones prog de los 70 de Tangerine Dream (cuyo Thorsten Quaesching aparece en «The Stargate [Tablet II]») con la intención mortal de Morbid Angel. Blood Incantation ya se han probado a sí mismos, perfeccionando el death metal progresivo con Hidden History of the Human Race de 2019, mientras se ramifican en el territorio de la banda sonora exclusivamente impulsada por sintetizadores con Timewave Zero de 2022. Ahora, con Absolute Elsewhere, que toma su título del colectivo prog de mediados de los 70 (más conocido como una escala celestial para el batería de King Crimson, Bill Bruford), Blood Incantation están dejando atrás la noción de género y escribiendo un nuevo lenguaje para la propia música extrema .
