Super 8 was released on June 13, 1994, by the Granada-based musical group Los Planetas. Super 8 became the soundtrack of a generation that loved noise, heartfelt lyrics, and mind-altering substances. It is said to be the most important work by the most representative band of what came to be known as indie in our country. From De viaje to La caja del diablo, those songs, wrapped in the unmistakable artistic design of José Aramburu, made a strong impact on the pop and rock of the time, and even today are cited as an undisputed source for many emerging bands.
