Al Otro Lado is Asfalto's second album, previously known as Tickets. After the release of the first album and the subsequent breakup of the group, the future seemed very uncertain, but keyboards became a fundamental part of the new Asfalto sound and transformed the overall feel of the group, which clearly moved towards progressive rock, with longer compositions and more elaborate instrumental developments, but also interspersed with shorter, simpler tracks, a hallmark of the group's style throughout these thirty-something years of existence.
