Strange (1988) and Strange Too (1990), previously available as individual titles on VHS and Laserdisc (now out of print and highly sought after), are compilations of the provocative and visionary short films made by master photographer and director Anton Corbijn, in collaboration with Depeche Mode, to create a new visual iconography for the band and their music.

Strange/Strange Too, available for the first time on DVD and Blu-ray and as a single collection, features 11 Anton Corbijn and Depeche Mode music films, newly restored from original Super 8mm sources, alongside six unreleased "vignettes" from the Depeche Mode archives. In assembling the final edits of Strange and Strange Too, Corbijn created a visual order in which individual music videos are perceived as a continuous film, with additional interspersed content that did not appear in the original clips.
