If Music Could Talk was an album that included interviews with the four members (Paul, Mick, Joe and Topper), conducted by long-time band associate Kosmo Vinyl, interspersed with music from the (then) newly released triple album 'Sandinista'.

If Music Could Talk is now being released, for the first time commercially, in a limited edition double vinyl (180g) with a new design. The cover is a tribute to the Nicaraguan rebel leader Augusto César Sandino, the original Sandinista, by artist Kosmo Vinyl, who also wrote the accompanying text for the release, along with a little-known photo of the band by Pennie Smith.
