With El Cuerpo, her second studio album, the Cadiz rapper-coplera Carmen Xía continues to establish herself as one of the most powerful and original voices in the national music scene. After the success of her debut La Herida (2022) and the hilarious remix EP La Juani (2024), the artist returns with thirteen tracks that explore the meaning and struggles surrounding our bodies, offering a critical and supportive vision of how capitalist society makes us compete, get sick, and forget our essence. As she herself says: "El Cuerpo is the wisdom of our flesh, and here we offer a Body that reaches out to another seeking help and solace. The care of El Cuerpo is the care of the collective."

Musically, this new work maintains the essence that has defined Carmen Xía since her beginnings and takes her unique fusion of Andalusian copla, hip hop, and electronic music to another level, all thanks to her trusted producer, Suzio Tarik, and with the participation of artists such as Canastéreo, Tribade, Bewis de la Rosa, Andrea Santalusía, and Califato ¾.
