Vallecas 1996 is the work of one of the bands most intimately linked to the Madrid district of Vallecas. Topo were pioneers of themes such as ecology and the belief in the goodness of people within Rock music.

They sing about the enjoyment of the small things that life in neighborhoods and towns brings, or the eternal nostalgia for those difficult times past, which their carefully crafted, always in-tune and harmonized voices continue to perfectly convey.
