“Super 8,” Los Planetas’ debut album, turns thirty years old. It was released on June 13, 1994, by the Granada-based musical group, under the record label BMG Ariola, S.A.
This album is considered a milestone in Spanish indie music, with emblematic songs such as “De viaje,” “Qué puedo hacer,” and Brigitte.
"Eight is a symbol of balance, capable of uniting the lower with the higher and harmonizing opposites. (...) The same can be said of Super 8, Los Planetas’ first LP, which in 2024, whose digits add up to eight, celebrates its thirtieth anniversary. (...).
Now, 30 years later, a re-edition of the album exactly as it was released in 1994.
