Description
Vinyl Edition.
"Pasajes de un sueño" (Passages of a Dream), released on January 2, 2000, is the title of the second solo studio album by singer Ana Torroja, after Puntos cardinales (Cardinal Points).
The album, a product of Ana's collaboration with New York-Brazilian producer Arto Lindsay and Venezuelan Andrés Levin, is dominated by slow songs, ballads, and mid-tempos with a cumbia, merengue, and Cuban son flavor, conveying a cosmopolitan character with Latin rhythms, a change of style from her time in Mecano.
The album was recorded at Majic Shop, Fun Machine, and Kampo studios in New York by Pat Dillet, Andrés Levin, and Kenji Shimoda, with assistants Caleb Lambert and Andy Jusuf. It was mixed at Westvlking studios by Bruce Swedien, assisted by Ashih Manchanda, and mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound.
