Remembered by all as the composer and arranger of a large number of hit songs and as the producer of many other great pop artists, Juan Carlos Calderón also released his own albums. This album, first released in 1979, is very different from the previous ones he recorded in the mid-70s. Disco music was all the rage in the last years of that decade, and Juan Carlos, a musician without prejudice and willing to investigate all styles, also did so with this genre and thus produced "Calderón Disco," an album composed of long-duration tracks in the purest disco style. It is now reissued on vinyl in recognition of his career.
