Cometas Por El Cielo is the sixth studio album by the Spanish musical group La Oreja de Van Gogh, released on September 13, 2011. It is Leire Martínez's second album. It was recorded in Gerona, at Music Lan Recording Studios, and mixed at Decibel Studios Stockholm.
The group spent a year and a half composing the album, and in an interview, Pablo Benegas stated that this sixth album would be the first produced by Simon Nordberg.
The album premiered exclusively on the radio, and during the entire week before its launch, one song was released daily. Six days after the album's release, it went straight to number one on Promusicae's list of the 100 best-selling albums in Spain, where it remained for 2 consecutive weeks. Within a few months, they achieved Platinum status.

This vinyl edition includes "Me falta el aire," "Dos copos de nieve," and "Epifanía," songs that were released in different editions and digital formats and are included together for the first time in a physical format.
