Alivio de Luto is Joaquín Sabina's thirteenth album. Thirteen songs where he has left his distinctive mark, featuring an abundance of acoustic guitars, handcrafted, and authentic tunes.

The singer-songwriter explained that it was difficult for him to name the album. First, it was called Números Rojos, then Doce Más Una, and finally, Alivio de Luto.
