Wolf Alice, the British band of the moment, has just unveiled another new song from their highly anticipated new album, "The Clearing", to be released on August 22nd on vinyl, CD and digital.
After "Bloom baby bloom" and "The sofa", this time the track is titled "White horses" and, in the words of Joel Amey (who shares vocals with Ellie Rowsell), -I was inspired by the idea of 'chosen family'. By the people I want around me. Then, little by little and intuitively, the acoustic textures of the track itself and the harmonies led me to compose a rhythmic base with an explicit and powerful krautrock element (...).
Recorded with Greg Kurstin (Beck, The Flaming Lips, Lykke Li, The Shins, Charli XCX, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey) in Los Angeles, the London band's fourth album represents a colossal step forward. Yes friends, the international album of the year is coming, and it's getting closer.
