Måneskin guitarist to release Masquerade on December 5

Thomas Raggi, guitarist for the band Måneskin, has announced the release of his first solo album, Masquerade, produced by the legendary Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine). The album, set to be released on December 5, 2025, features an impressive list of collaborators including Beck, Nic Cester (Jet), Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand), Maxim (The Prodigy), Sergio Pizzorno (Kasabian), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), Luke Spiller (The Struts), and Upsahl, among others.

Masquerade is a pure rock album consisting of eight tracks that celebrate artistic collaboration and a passion for unfiltered, unpretentious music. Each song was born from a genuine connection between musicians of different generations and styles, united by the desire to create something authentic. Regarding the process, Thomas comments: This album is the result of a lot of hard work and dedication. It’s driven by the desire to share my story through music and to explore new depths within myself through experimentation and discovery. But at the same time, it all came about naturally. The first single, ‘Getcha!’, was co-written with Beck, features Chad Smith on drums, and lyrics by Nic Cester. Other standout tracks from the album include ‘Cat Got Your Tongue’ with Sergio Pizzorno, ‘Fallaway’ with Maxim, and ‘Lucy’ with Upsahl.

Thomas Raggi rose to fame as the guitarist for Måneskin, a band that revolutionized the modern rock scene and became the first Italian group to achieve global success. Known for his electrifying style and innovative approach, Raggi now embarks on a new creative phase with Masquerade, a project that solidifies his position as a visionary artist and collaborator. This album not only reflects his musical evolution but also his commitment to authenticity and artistic freedom.
