SHAKIRA LANZA SU INCREÍBLE NUEVO ÁLBUM LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN en SMFSTORE

"An emotional blend of strength and vulnerability, jumping between pop, EDM, rap, reggaeton and ballads" –

The Times

Today, GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® winning artist Shakira released her highly anticipated twelfth studio album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.

Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran marks Shakira's first album in seven years and is a dazzling testament to her resilience and strength, as well as the power of music to transform even the most difficult experiences into memorable moments.

The album features 16 tracks, 8 new songs, a new remix, and 7 previous hits including "Music Sessions Vol. 53" with Bizarrap, "TQG" with Karol G, "Monotonía" with Ozuna, "Te Felicito" with Rauw Alejandro, "Copa Vacía" with Manuel Turizo, and more. The 7 previously released tracks already have a combined total of 3.7 billion streams on Spotify.

Along with the album release, Shakira dropped the music video for her infectious new pop song “Puntería” featuring Cardi B. Directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the video also features Emily in Paris star Lucien Laviscount in a special role.

In an exclusive interview for the UK Times newspaper cover, Shakira said about the album: "[It's] the transformation of pain into creativity, frustration into productivity, anger into passion, vulnerability into resilience. There were so many pieces of my life that fell apart in front of my eyes and I had to rebuild myself in some way, picking up the bones from the ground and putting them all together. And music was the glue that kept it all together."

Shakira also told the Times that the video for "Puntería" takes place on "a planet where women rule as Amazons, who are the daughters of Artemis. I pursue him [Lucien] and he grows legs and becomes human. It's very feminine and beautiful, with a very interesting story that is an analogy to women's empowerment."

Shakira celebrated her album release with an experiential event at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL sponsored by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Sony Music Latin. On Monday, Shakira will perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She will also join Jimmy on the couch to discuss the new album and more.

Shakira's new album is available in four distinct art editions, each accompanied by an exclusive colored vinyl variant. In Spain, the Sapphire edition is available exclusively on Amazon, while the Ruby edition will be available at El Corte Inglés, Fnac, and SmfStore. Fans can find the Emerald edition exclusively on Shakira.com, and the Diamond edition will be available in all stores.

Shakira holds the position of the best-selling female Latin artist in history, with a decades-long trajectory of innovation and success, but she has continued to solidify her legendary status in the past year due to the overwhelming success of her latest releases. Her success will undoubtedly continue with the release of her new album, as her resilience, vulnerability, confidence, and passion highlight both her personal challenges and triumphs.
