It will be released on August 28 in various formats, now available for pre-order. The announcement comes with the release of the single "Stone," a previously unreleased recording from 1995.

The first opportunity to discover Timeless will be during Prince Celebration 2026, which will be held from June 3 to 7 in Minneapolis. As the official launch platform for the project, this edition will feature exclusive listening sessions and conversations with Prince's collaborators, offering unprecedented insight into the new archive recordings and the stories behind them. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has proclaimed that week "Prince Celebration Week," in recognition of Prince's incalculable impact on its culture, identity, and global legacy.
