Natalia Lafourcade makes history with two sold-out nights at Mexico City's National Auditorium and global live broadcast
Natalia Lafourcade hace historia con dos noches sold out en el Auditorio Nacional de Ciudad de México y transmisión global en directo

Natalia Lafourcade delivered one of the most memorable performances of her career with the concert Cancionera. Un Canto a las Raíces at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, presenting her latest album. This was the second of three scheduled dates at the Auditorio Nacional for the latter half of the year — September 9 and 11 (both sold out) and, upcoming, October 7.

With the poetic and musical hallmark that characterizes the album, Natalia Lafourcade took the stage accompanied by 9 musicians who faithfully replicated the sound with which Cancionera was recorded. Special guests such as El David Aguilar and Adan Jodorowsky—collaborator and producer of the album, respectively—joined in to further enrich this celebration of Mexican roots and cultural encounter. In addition to the massive in-person attendance, the September 11 concert was streamed live on Natalia Lafourcade's official Instagram and Facebook accounts. This global broadcast allowed audiences from various countries to experience it from their homes. A recording of the concert is available on Natalia Lafourcade's Facebook page, offering those who missed it live the opportunity to fully enjoy it. This show comes at a key moment: Natalia is in the midst of her most successful tour, with 36 performances already completed, while also experiencing a very significant personal moment: motherhood. Even so, she offered this performance as an offering to her audience, a way to extend cultural and emotional roots that go beyond the physical realm.
