With the release of the album Kaelis just around the corner and with the hit Chulx with Eladio Carrión triumphing worldwide, Lia Kali releases Renacer, the latest advance from what will be her second album. The new track by the Barcelona artist is a trap song with Latin urban influences, in which she turns pain into a weapon to leave painful moments behind. Renacer – which premieres today, March 7th – features production by Toni Anzis and four-time Grammy-winning multi-platinum Californian Larrance “Rance 1500” Dopson, musical director of the highly reputable collective “1500 or Nothin”, who has collaborated with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, and Snoop Dogg. The Barcelona artist's new work is a perfectly crafted piece that sings about overcoming everything that hurt us, thanks to the determination to be reborn. The new single is accompanied by a magnificent music video produced by Bandiz and directed by Ismael de la Trinidad.
The atmosphere of Renacer is no different from that of the hit song Chulx, which is climbing viral charts worldwide. It is the common thread of Kaelis, her second career album, which will be released on March 21st with 17 radiant tracks dominated by an extraordinary voice and urban-based production with a crossover spirit. Lia Kali conceives Kaelis as a leap towards the sky, overcoming the uncertainties of the future. She does so “from a present that navigates with ambivalence between success, purity, money or love, and turbulence, fear, vertigo, frustration, and death,” as the artist herself summarizes. After its release, she begins her new tour, with dates at the Cartuja Center in Seville, with all tickets sold out, and the Movistar Arena in Madrid on April 4th and 12th. This is how Lia Kali faces 2025, like a journey with the sky as her horizon.
