Gloria Estefan to headline Hispanidad 2025 concert in Madrid
Gloria Estefan protagonizará el concierto principal de la Hispanidad 2025 en Madrid

Gloria Estefan will be the main star of the Hispanidad 2025 main concert, which will take place on October 5 at a new location: the emblematic Plaza de Colón, in the heart of Madrid. The event, with free access, will gather thousands of people and is part of the official Hispanic Day celebrations organized by the Community of Madrid.

The iconic artist will perform her most emblematic songs—including hits like “Mi Tierra,” “Conga,” and “Hoy”—along with songs from her most recent and acclaimed album, ‘Raíces’, released last May. This unique show celebrates not only her musical legacy but also the power of music to unite cultures and generations.

‘Raíces’, produced by Emilio Estefan and recorded at Crescent Moon Studios in Miami, fuses classic rhythms like salsa with a contemporary production that connects past and present. The first single, also titled “Raíces,” has been recognized for its message of love, identity, and cultural continuity. “Raíces expresses how love and life are like planting: what you cultivate with faith, patience, and dedication, sooner or later will bear fruit,” Estefan explained.

The concert will be especially significant, as it marks the 50th anniversary of Gloria Estefan's musical career, a trajectory that has left its mark on generations. With over 100 million albums sold, multiple Grammy awards, and a crucial role as a global ambassador for Latin music, her legacy is indisputable. “It is an honor to share this significant moment in a city that has always embraced Latin culture with such affection,” Estefan declared. “Madrid holds a very special place in my heart, and I cannot wait to celebrate our roots together.”

From her beginnings with Miami Sound Machine to becoming a global superstar, Estefan has paved the way for countless Latin artists. Her participation makes the grand Hispanidad 2025 concert a historic event.

More details about the schedule and access protocols for the event will be announced soon.

Special thanks to the Community of Madrid, whose firm commitment to music and cultural diversity is once again reflected in the official motto of this celebration agenda: "All accents fit in Madrid."
