With the power of Rock N' Roll, R&B, and Soul as its backbone, Shine functions as Fito's declaration to the world around us.

Through 13 new songs, Páez attacks current social numbness, building a parallel universe with identities that champion hugs, friendships, and fraternal human relationships.

At the same time, this material somehow symbolizes Fito Páez's rebirth. In early September 2025, the musician from Rosario suffered a domestic accident that required surgery for nine fractured ribs.

After this delicate period of long months of absolute rest and the cancellation of some concerts and recordings, music, and this album in particular, finally re-signified the power of being alive, lucid, and contributing art to this life.

That is why, in the compositions of Shine, deep social textures coexist with hopeful affection and sensitivities, forming a balanced album that invites you to dance, be happy, and at the same time reflect on how we are living today.

Shine is made up of thirteen explorations of passions and conflicts, chaos, clues, and redemptions of people who have lived through much of human time and ultimately find a common ground: to provide light and fertile feelings in the face of the world's insensitivity.
