The 2024 New Year's Concert was broadcast to 100 countries around the world and watched by millions of viewers. The television broadcast in Spain was the most watched with 28.1%

This year's program featured a total of 9 premieres and music by 9 different composers, including members of the Strauß dynasty (Johann Strauß I and II as well as Josef Strauß), Hellmesberger, Ziehrer and others. A special moment was the performance of Anton Bruckner's "Quadrille WAB 121", in tribute to the bicentenary of the composer's birth in 2024.
