CANO PRESENTS 'ANAIS': THE MOST PERSONAL AND AMBITIOUS PROJECT OF HIS CAREER
CANO PRESENTA ‘ANAIS’: EL PROYECTO MÁS PERSONAL Y AMBICIOSO DE SU CARRERA

Following the huge success of his second album Triana (2024), Cano (David Cano Calleja, 2001) announces the release of "Anais", which features 10 tracks ranging from his characteristic flamenco air, through urban pop with electronic tinges, merenguetón or bachata.

"Anais" is the most intimate project of his career. A story about love, personal evolution and commitment. The album marks a turning point in the career of the Madrid artist, reflecting his current reality as a partner and father, something he anticipated with "Let It Go" and "Amor De Manicomio", the first two songs we heard as a preview of the album.

Last weekend, Cano chose the Metropolitano Stadium to host a pioneering listening party in Spain. More than 700 people attended a format never before seen in Spain in a venue of this magnitude, and were able to listen to the song for the first time exclusively with Puerto Rican artist Justin Quiles.

The repertoire remains faithful to his roots: a mix of nostalgia, neighborhood vibes and an absolute declaration of love.

"The album begins with an exercise in honesty called "2019", where Cano connects his humble past with his stellar present, using love as the sole focus of his life. He emphasizes that, despite the change in status, his essence and personal commitment remain intact, both for his inner circle and for his fans, to whom he winks by mentioning phrases like "he used to wear Nikes". A song that achieves a perfect balance between his romantic sensitivity and street identity, a hallmark of his artistry" (Ramsés López - Los40 Urban)

The album's only collaboration is a powerful mix with a summer essence. It combines Cano's neighborhood feeling with the international melodic touch of Puerto Rican Justin Quiles in a merenguetón rhythm.

"Olvidarnos De To' :) is a remarkable and refreshing evolution in Cano's sound, as he ventures into a single under this new urban subgenre, but without losing his narrative origin. On the vehicle of merenguetón, he conveys lyrics that speak of the couple's comfort and mutual enjoyment. Justin Quiles brings a tone to this street work that invites dancing and forgetting. It has all the makings of a tool for DJ sessions this summer." (Ramsés López - LOS40 Urban)
