Bring Me The Horizon celebrate 10 years of SEMPITERNAL
A new special edition vinyl picture disc is released on December 8
Bring Me The Horizon celebrates the 10th anniversary of their ground-breaking fourth album, Sempiternal , with a special edition of the album on vinylpicture disc, which is released on December 8 and is now available for pre-order.
Originally released in 2013, Sempiternal is one of the metal albums that most defined a generation. He broke prejudices, was innovative and brought a vision of the future. The album was the perfect nod to the band's metal and post-hardcore roots but with a new approach. Furthermore, it was the album that would catapult the band to global success, opening the doors to massive concerts in stadiums and some of the largest and most diverse festivals in the world, such as Glastonbury.
This new edition highlights the music and underlines the enigmatic cover illustration, still impregnated with symbology and mysticism. This picture disc edition features the album's iconic flower of life design, with a color reversal of the original cover further accentuating the beauty of this limited edition, the design coming to life on the turntable.
Oli Sykes , frontman of the band, adds: "I feel like this is the album that changed everything for our band, both in terms of commercial success and in personal terms. I was struggling with addiction and my relationship with the band before this. album was fractured and I felt that the only way to apologize for my actions was to get to work and pour it all into an album. This album brought our band together more than ever and for that reason it will always have a special place in my heart."
