Timothée Chalamet stars and sings as Bob Dylan in James Mangold's A Complete Unknown, the true story behind the rise of one of history's most iconic singer-songwriters. The original soundtrack, A Complete Unknown, will be released on December 25 on streaming platforms; and is already available for pre-order on CD and red vinyl, to be released early next year. The first two singles from the soundtrack - "Girl From The North Country" and "Like A Rolling Stone" - are now available.

The film premieres in Spain on February 28, 2025, only in cinemas. In addition to Timothée Chalamet as Dylan, it also stars Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, and Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie.

Regarding the soundtrack, Mangold commented: "For me, there was only one way to make this film: to choose deeply talented actors, ambitious (and brave enough!) to inhabit the totality of the artists they were going to portray. And to inhabit that world, those artists had to be able to sing the songs... We never intended to replace the power, beauty, and majesty of what exists, but to celebrate it."

About 'A Complete Unknown’: New York, early 1960s. Against the backdrop of a vibrant music scene and a tumultuous cultural life, an enigmatic 19-year-old from Minnesota arrives in Greenwich Village with his guitar and a revolutionary talent, destined to change the course of American music. As he forms his most intimate relationships during his rise to fame, he begins to confront the folk movement and, refusing to be defined, makes a controversial decision that has cultural repercussions worldwide.
