BELÉN AGUILERA PLAYS WITH FANTASY AND MYTHOLOGY IN ‘ECLIPSE/SALVAMENTO,’ HER DOUBLE RELEASE
BELÉN AGUILERA JUEGA CON LA FANTASÍA Y LA MITOLOGÍA EN ‘ECLIPSE/SALVAMENTO’, SU DOBLE LANZAMIENTO

Belén Aguilera delves into the imaginary universe of mythology and fantasy that will be called Anela, her fourth album, to present today a captivating double preview: Eclipse/Salvamento, two tracks that concentrate the essence of an authentic pop diva who reinvents herself with a very personal blend of organic strokes and electronic elements.

Under the continuity of a single music video inspired by classical dance, Eclipse and Salvamento precisely summarize the conceptual project of Anela, which will be released on September 12. The first, with its rhythmic sequence that brings it closer to the dance floor. And the second, intimate, with an openly explicit emotional opening. These are two of the axes that weave together in Anela an amalgam of feelings, an immaterial world perfect for escaping reality.

“Anela is a story about dreams, desires, the search for identity and the consequences of blindly pursuing something,” the Barcelona-born singer and songwriter wrote on her social media. This double preview, which joins the premiere of Laberinto, last May 23, helps close the circle of an artist's transformation who has gone to meet the world she idealized as a child. The most mystical, lyrical, and theatrical Belén re-emerged, to tell us a story structured by emotions expressed through various themes and perspectives.

Like the album itself, Eclipse/Salvamento evoke a dreamlike, surreal, and abstract world. The songs, the staging, and the visuals, by Santa Mónica, use fantastic, mythological symbols, with which Belén Aguilera has wanted to create her own Arcadia, one that leaves behind the idyllic to become a world of lights where magic exists, even if it coexists with shadows.

Belén Aguilera began playing self-taught and soon moved on to homemade covers on social media. In 2020, she debuted on the Spanish pop scene with her first album, Como ves, no siempre he sido mía…, which included singles like Mía, which reached the Top10 sales in Spain. In 2022, she released Superpop, one of the best-selling albums nationwide. Since then, her music has not left the viral charts of platforms like Spotify, achieving her first solo Gold Record in 2023.

Parallel to her international projection, her consolidation in Spain grew, with sold-out shows such as the double-header at the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in Madrid and Razzmatazz in Barcelona. This 2025, she welcomes her new stage with almost all tickets sold for her concert at the Movistar Arena in Madrid on October 12, and with an essential date at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona on November 8, for which she has already put up the 'sold out' sign.
