Legendary ex-members of King Crimson, Adrian Belew and Tony Levin, joined virtuoso guitarist Steve Vai and explosive Tool drummer, Danny Carey, to create BEAT. The new supergroup performs creative reinterpretations of King Crimson's three iconic 80s albums: Discipline, Beat, and Three Of A Perfect Pair.

In 2024, the group played 65 concerts across North America, from which Live emerged, a live album documenting the Los Angeles concert from that tour. It will be released tomorrow, September 26th, in various formats, including the 2-CD and Blu-ray edition, which features the complete Los Angeles concert in 5.1 Surround Sound and Stereo, as well as bonus interviews with the band.

Adrian Belew: "You step on stage with three virtuoso, world-class professional musicians who have seen it all, but still have fun playing this timeless music, unlike anything before or since, and the audience knows every word and is so excited about the performance that the energy and love they give back to you is overwhelming. What could be better?"

Steve Vai: "Touring with BEAT has proven to be much more than I could have expected. Performing this music with Adrian, Tony, and Danny has been one of my favorite touring experiences, and now we are at the top of our game and capturing the magic on BEAT LIVE."

Tony Levin: "The band is cool. I'm glad we got high-quality recordings of what we do live: innovation meets classic material."

Danny Carey: "I look forward to every show I do with Tony, Adrian, and Steve with excitement and awe. Playing with musicians of this caliber is a dream come true. These songs are fun and challenging, and the promise of inspiration, execution, and surprise has never let me down. I look forward to doing more."
