Barbra Streisand today releases her new song ‘Letter To My Thirteen Year Old Self’ featuring Laufey, one of the tracks that will be part of her new album, The Secret Of Life: Partners, Volume 2, on June 27, 2025. The album will be released on vinyl, CD and digital and includes new songs, as well as covers of monumental songs, all of them duets with Paul McCartney, Mariah Carey, Sting, Ariana Grande, Bob Dylan, Sam Smith, Seal, Hozier, James Taylor, Josh Groban, Laufey and Tim McGraw.
‘Letter To My Thirteen Year Old Self (ft. Laufey)’ joins ‘My Valentine’, the track she released on May 16 with Paul McCartney, and the first single, ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’ in collaboration with Hozier and produced by Walter Afanasieff (Céline Dion, Mariah Carey), Peter Asher (James Taylor, Neil Diamond), & Jay Landers (Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra). The album's release will coincide with her 83rd birthday and its theme revolves around the theme of family, reflection and appreciating the small things in life. In her own words: “All these artists inspire me in different ways. Both my lifelong good friends, and these new artists whom I admire so much (...)”.
