AMARAL presents ROMPEHIELOS, the first single from their new album.
AMARAL nos presenta ROMPEHIELOS, el primer avance de su nuevo disco.

"Rompehielos" has a rhythmic pulse between hip hop and reggae, over which a brass section and a hypnotic guitar melody flow.

Floating above it all is the voice, unraveling a text that challenges all those who encounter barriers to living their lives freely. Those who feel different or outside the norm:

"They'll tell you you're crazy, that you won't amount to anything, that you look angry and you're prettier when you smile."

"Rompehielos" proposes shedding the fear of not being accepted in the face of others' judgments. Carving the stone and removing everything that doesn't contribute, forging a path.

The song grows and explodes in a climax that is a personal declaration:

"To live to the ultimate consequence, to love without limits and without rules, to laugh at all my sorrows, to make a fire with my sadness. That's what I'm going to do. Live like an icebreaker."
