Alejandro Sanz releases Hoy no me siento bien, his new song with Grupo Frontera
Alejandro Sanz presenta Hoy no me siento bien, el nuevo tema con Grupo Frontera
Alejandro Sanz has always loved the Mexican universe, so it was only a matter of time before a collaboration like the one with Grupo Frontera, which is finally available on digital platforms, came to fruition.

Grupo Frontera is one of the biggest exponents of "Méxica" music, and Mexico is a country Alejandro deeply loves and admires in every way. Their constant effort to reach new creative heights is one of the main characteristics of this group, which has worked with artists like Peso Pluma, Shakira, Carin Leon, and Bad Bunny, with whom they released the hit "un x100to." They recently won their first Latin Grammy Award for Best Norteño Album for "El Comienzo."

The collaboration on "Hoy no me siento bien" emerged organically and naturally from both artists. In the words of Grupo Frontera:
"For us, working on a song like 'Hoy no me siento bien' with an artist of Alejandro Sanz's stature makes us very proud because we have infinite respect for him (...) We are delighted with the final result. The fusion of genres gives a brutal dimension to the track, and being able to work hand-in-hand with him and Edgard allowed us to add a piece of our musical imagination to the song in a very natural way."
Just like "Palmeras en el jardín," "Hoy no me siento bien" is accompanied by a very special music video directed by filmmaker Greg Ohrel.

Ohrel previously directed the brilliant audiovisual piece for the previous release, so it's not surprising that the Spanish singer-songwriter wanted to work with him again. This time, Sanz's intention was to recreate a neighborhood party in true Mexican style.
The new track – Sanz's second since joining Sony Music – was produced by Edgar Barrera, probably the number one producer in the current Latin market. Also notable is the participation in the arrangements by Luis Miguel Gómez Castaño, who is slowly becoming one of the "usual suspects" on the Spanish artist's team.

Alejandro Sanz's debut at his new label was with "Palmeras en el jardín," a track with the unmistakable stamp of an artist internationally recognized as a music legend. With that release, he began the journey of what will soon become his new album, of which we will learn more details in the coming weeks.

Sanz is one of the most admired Spanish artists on the international scene and the most awarded of all time, with 22 Latin Grammys, four Grammys, and a Billboard Award for his career, among many other accolades.

From his debut in 1991 with "Viviendo deprisa" to his latest studio album, "SANZ," released in December 2021, he has conquered the world's stages, with over 25 million albums sold and all his albums certified with multiple Platinum records.
