Wish You Were Here 50 offers fans an exciting new insight into one of Pink Floyd's most iconic and beloved albums. This 50th-anniversary edition includes rarities and live recordings. At the core of this special collection are six alternate and unreleased demo versions that present Pink Floyd's eighth studio album in an entirely new way, inviting repeated listening.
This Blu-ray includes a first-ever Dolby Atmos mix of the album by James Guthrie, plus 25 bonus tracks comprising nine studio rarities and 16 live recordings captured by renowned bootlegger Mike Millard at Pink Floyd's Los Angeles Sports Arena concert on April 26, 1975, now officially released for the first time. The live audio has been meticulously restored and remastered by Steven Wilson. The Blu-ray also offers fans the opportunity to view three concert films from the band's 1975 tour, plus a short film by Storm Thorgerson.
The iconic album features "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," the hypnotic "Welcome To The Machine," the biting "Have a Cigar," and the essential title track, "Wish You Were Here," and is undoubtedly one of the most important albums in the history of popular music.
