Wish You Were Here 50 offers fans an exciting new look at one of Pink Floyd’s most iconic and beloved albums.

The 50th Anniversary edition includes multiple discs of unreleased material. Central to this special collection are six previously unreleased alternate takes and demos that present Pink Floyd’s eighth studio album in a whole new way that invites repeated listening.

This set includes a Blu-ray featuring a first-ever Dolby Atmos mix by James Guthrie, plus 25 bonus tracks comprising nine studio rarities and 16 live recordings captured by celebrated ‘taper’ Mike Millard at Pink Floyd’s Los Angeles Sports Arena show on April 26, 1975, now officially released for the first time. The live audio has been meticulously restored and remastered by Steven Wilson. The Blu-ray also provides fans with an opportunity to see three films from the band’s 1975 tour, plus a Storm Thorgerson short film.

The 2CD and 4LP (on exclusive clear vinyl) include the original album plus nine studio bonus tracks. This set exclusively includes a fourth vinyl, Live At Wembley 1974, plus a replica Japanese 7-inch single of ‘Have A Cigar’ with ‘Welcome To The Machine’ on the B-side, a hardback book featuring previously unseen photographs, a comic book featuring the tour program, and a Knebworth poster.

Featuring ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’, the hypnotic ‘Welcome To The Machine’, the biting ‘Have a Cigar’, and the essential title track, Wish You Were Here is undoubtedly one of the most important albums in the history of popular music.

The album’s themes including absence, isolation, transience and the insincerity of the music business are all captured in the iconic album artwork. 50 years after its release, Wish You Were Here sounds as resonant and vital as ever.
