The Infamous is Mobb Deep's second studio album and one of the most influential works in hip hop history. Originally released in 1995 by Loud Records, the album was primarily produced by Havoc and solidified the dark, street-oriented sound that would define the identity of the duo formed by Prodigy and Havoc.

The album features collaborations with artists such as Nas, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and Q-Tip, who also participated in the production. Among its most iconic songs are 'Shook Ones, Pt. II' and 'Survival of the Fittest', two essential classics of 90s rap.
