Includes all the music performed at the 1963 Festival Mondial Du Jazz de Antibes (July 26-28 of that year) and the 1964 Paris Jazz Festival (October 1). The 1963 recordings feature George Coleman, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams - while the 1964 recordings highlight the arrival of Wayne Shorter on tenor saxophone as the newest member of the Second Great Quintet. Miles In France will arrive on November 8 in a 6-CD and 8-LP edition with over four hours of previously unreleased music and new liner notes by journalist Marcus J. Moore. A special 2-LP edition, featuring only the 1964 recordings, will also be available on blue, white, and red vinyl inspired by the French flag.
