After years out of print, one of the best post-punk and synth-pop albums of the 80s, 'Soul Mining', the impactful debut by The The, originally released on October 21, 1983, is reissued, remastered on vinyl and with its original artwork.

Recorded with Bruce Gilbert and Graham Lewis of Wire, under the influence of the drug that five years later would be called ecstasy and would change pop forever from Manchester, 'Soul Mining' was ignored and undervalued during the first months of its release. However, gradually and retrospectively, critics began to chain unanimous praise for this album, until it is now considered one of the best albums of the decade.
