Songs of Faith and Devotion is the eighth album by the English electronic music group, Depeche Mode. Songs Of Faith And Devotion is arguably Depeche Mode's most intense album. It is a catalog of how man places his faith in the world: from love, sex, empathy, religion, forgiveness, betrayal, schizophrenia, prediction, tenderness, and supreme love. They brought this together using some Gospel and deep messages in their songs, which were written by Martin Gore under immense pressure during the recording.
