Jakko M. Jakszyk, recently known as the vocalist and guitarist of the legendary progressive rock group King Crimson, returns with his new solo album «Son Of Glen». Those already familiar with Jakko's acclaimed autobiography, «Who's The Boy With The Lovely Hair?», will know about the intensely emotional journey he undertook in search of his roots (as an adopted child), and his new solo album takes many of the themes discussed in that book as its starting point. Featuring Jakko and musicians such as Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, The Pineapple Thief), Ian Mosely (Marillion), Louise Patricia Crane, Caroline Lavelle, Zoltán Csörsz, and his son Django Jakszyk (who plays bass throughout the album), «Son Of Glen» is an honest and beautiful collection that culminates with the album's title track, over 10 minutes long, a fantasy about his biological father, whom he never knew.
