Through 13 new songs, Paez attacks current social numbness, building a parallel universe with identities that champion embraces, friendships, and fraternal human relationships.

At the same time, this material somehow symbolizes the rebirth of Fito Paez. In early September 2025, the musician from Rosario suffered a domestic accident that required him to undergo an operation for nine broken ribs.

After this delicate period of long months of absolute rest and the cancellation of some concerts and recordings, music, and this album in particular, finally re-signified the power of being alive, lucid, and contributing art to this life.

That is why, in the compositions of Shine, deep social textures coexist with hopeful affections and sensitivities, forming a balanced album that invites you to dance, be happy, and at the same time reflect on how we are living today.

Shine is made up of thirteen explorations with passions and conflicts, chaos, indications, and redemptions of people who have lived through much of human time and ultimately find a common point: to provide light and fertile feelings in the face of the world's insensitivity.

With this release, the musician from Rosario reaffirms his role as a composer who focuses on the world around him, as a stimulating action, amplifying musical and social roots in a universe of technological alienation.
