Sandinista! is the fourth studio album by British punk band The Clash.

In addition to its eclecticism, as it contained an immense variety of themes and styles, with 6 songs on each of the 6 sides, it was the most radical album released to date by one of the groups from the first wave of British punk, a triple somersault in which they tried everything, from dub versions to flirtations with nascent hip hop, being one of the first, and few, rock groups that looked favorably upon the new genre. And Joe Strummer and Mick Jones's band was so open-minded that they also didn't turn up their noses at one of the genres most demonized by the rock orthodoxy of the time: disco music.
