Room On Fire is the second album by the band The Strokes. It maintains the sound of Is This It, their first album, but shows more nuances, more diverse production, and backing vocals. Critics defined it as a more "electronic" work than the first, but one that returned to familiar territory from time to time. In other words, they were more original, but they didn't dare, or didn't want to, take off completely.
