LET THERE BE ROCK was initially released in Australia in March 1977, with a modified international version released later that summer, featuring the first appearance of the iconic AC/DC logo. It is said that while recording the solo for the title track, Angus's amplifier overheated and caught fire!
To pay homage to AC/DC’s 50 years as the world’s greatest rock and roll band, the band’s catalog will be made available on gold-colored vinyl. Each of these limited-edition LPs includes a print with new AC/DC 50 artwork for each album, ideal for framing.
