Plena Pausa, the project in which, commissioned by the Filmoteca Española, J sets music to part of the visual legacy of San Sebastian filmmaker Iván Zulueta. He was not a cursed artist, but a free creator beyond "Arrebato", his cult work.

It is no coincidence that J from Los Planetas wanted to breathe new life into film material rescued by the National Film Library when acquiring "one of the most powerful personal archives in the cinematic context of the second half of the 20th century." The Granada musician has delved into Zulueta's unreleased filmography shot between the 60s and 70s in Super 8 and 16mm, as well as personal documents, drawings, and polaroids.

And here is the result, "Plena Pausa," an essential work as it provides cultural utility beyond the triviality of a pop song. Songs that broaden horizons and help preserve a unique audiovisual work in Spain.
