Welcome to the first chapter of a comprehensive catalogue re-issue campaign of the versatile Swedish Hardrock act NIGHTINGALE.
Formed 30 years ago by vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and acclaimed metal producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Edge Of Sanity, etc.), NIGHTINGALE evolved from a Goth/Rock-inspired solo project into a full band delivering atmospheric and progressive AOR/Hardrock/Melodic Metal.
NIGHTINGALE's entire album catalogue has received a complete remastering treatment by Swanö himself and will once again be made available with extensive bonus material.
Originally released in 2005, "Nightfall Overture" kicks off the festivities by offering, amongst other things, reimagined and re-recorded versions of songs from the band's first four albums, covering NIGHTINGALE's first decade of existence, as well as their own version of the Edge Of Sanity track "Losing Myself".
