La Hija (Original Soundtrack) consists of fourteen compositions by Vetusta Morla, opening with the original song Reina de las trincheras. The musical pieces journey through the film's imagery, becoming another character in Manuel Martín Cuenca's new work. The director himself describes it as follows: “The work they did turned out to be more than I had dreamed of, a miracle I was able to witness as a director. They were able to understand and adapt to the story, to accept the challenges I proposed to them, and to build a soundtrack that seemed to emerge from the images. We talked a lot, they experimented a lot, they researched with great rigor, and they endowed the film with a sonic beauty that moves me deeply. They were able to take the film further.”
