VERDE PRATO releases Euskal Pop Erradikala, an EP of four covers already known to her audience from concerts, which takes its name from Euskal Rock Erradikala, or Basque Radical Rock, a renowned musical movement that emerged in the Basque Country in the eighties. With this play on words, the artist nods to that movement, and by changing rock to pop, the concept is sweeter and somehow corrupts a typically masculine genre.
Verde Prato revisits admired songs ("Pakean utzi arte" / Hertzainak), references from a generation ("Zu atrapatu arte" / Kortatu), and transforms them, taking them to her own worlds.
