Saying the best of the repertoire of a band like Los Rebeldes is saying a lot. Especially if we talk about one of the most productive groups that rock made in Spain has produced, with four and a half decades of experience. Well, that's what the new album by Carlos Segarra and his people has, "El honor y la gloria", a double CD+DVD recorded in the old Joy Eslava with the most iconic songs of his career, and therefore, the most iconic of our rock.

From Beers, girls and rockabilly by those Rebeldes who were launching their musical career, to the recent (and autobiographical) The guitar boy... In El honor y la gloria we can find up to 16 songs from all their periods, some as mythical as A Spaniard in New York, Werewolf Rock, Mediterranean, Mescaline, Under the Moonlight or Heart of Rock&Roll.

Two songs by Loquillo, a colleague who shared space and time with Los Rebeldes, also enter the repertoire. With him they perform "Ugly, strong and formal" and "This is not Hawaii."
