Multi-platinum superstar Luke Hemmings continues to delve into his profound musical passions, uniting his fans and pursuing his own musical tastes. The artist has announced his highly anticipated solo EP, boy, set to be released on April 26, 2024, which he co-produced with long-time collaborator Sammy Witte (Maggie Rogers, Harry Styles, Freya Ridings).

As a preview of the EP, the award-winning musician and member of Five Seconds of Summer has shared the beautiful and melancholic first single, "Shakes". Inspired by bands like LCD Soundsystem and Cocteau Twins, when Hemmings set out to write his new EP, he was chasing something specific. In a session with fellow songwriter Sammy Witte, they called it "the ache." "It's hard to put into words," Luke explains. "I just know I have a feeling, an ache. That seems to be the feeling I keep coming back to."
