Alivio de luto is Joaquín Sabina's thirteenth album, released in 2005, and has sold more than 200,000 copies.

The album not only features two free versions of songs by Francesco de Gregori ("Mater España") and Leonard Cohen ("Pie de guerra"), but also an entire lyric, "Nube negra," written by Luis García Montero, one co-written with Benjamín Prado ("Números rojos"), and another co-written with José Manuel Caballero Bonald ("Dos horas después").

It is finally being released individually on vinyl format.
