FIRST SONG AND VIDEO FROM HER UPCOMING ALBUM
LUX WILL BE AVAILABLE ON NOVEMBER 7
ROSALÍA presents “Berghain,” a new single and video from her upcoming album LUX, which will be available on November 7 via Columbia Records. “Berghain” is the grand orchestral piece that constitutes the second movement of LUX, an operatic journey through languages and emotions featuring Björk and Yves Tumor. Sung in German, Spanish, and English, “Berghain” shifts from gentle introspection to sweeping cinematic power, balancing intimacy and grandeur in a world that feels both deeply personal and limitless in scale.
The music video was produced by CANADA and directed by Nicolás Méndez, a frequent collaborator of ROSALÍA, known for directing “Malamente,” “TKN,” and “Pienso En Tu Mirá.” Shot in Warsaw, Poland, the video follows a woman going through a grieving process as she struggles to heal her broken heart. In the end, the protagonist finds solace and healing through her spirituality.
LUX features ROSALÍA as executive producer, was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, and includes collaborations with Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza, and Yves Tumor. The CD and vinyl editions include three exclusive tracks, inviting listeners to experience the album in its most immersive form.
Last week, ROSALÍA unveiled LUX with a monumental takeover of Madrid’s Gran Vía, where she turned off the lights of the entire area, plunged the city into darkness, and re-illuminated it to reveal the official album cover, all captured live for fans around the world.
ROSALÍA is a two-time Grammy® and thirteen-time Latin Grammy® winning artist and producer who is redefining global pop with a bold musical fusion and a singular visual language.
