The artist offered a historic "sold out" concert at the Cartuja Center and performed
"How beautiful of Rosario Flores at the 23rd Goya Awards gala.
The Guitarricadelafuente phenomenon does not stop growing. His consolidation as a crucial artist on the Spanish music scene has milestones in store for him like this weekend: 3,500 people gathered at the concert at the Cartuja Center in Seville , the largest of his theater tour. His time in the Andalusian capital left another unforgettable moment: his performance at the Goya gala , in which he performed a moving 'Qué bonito' during the In Memoriam.
Álvaro Lafuente lived a hectic Saturday. He walked the Goya red carpet, left in a hurry for his Sevillian concert and returned to make everyone who witnessed the ceremony stand on end. His version of the Rosario Flores song aroused unanimous applause and has been recognized as one of the most exciting passages of the night. And along the way he left his indelible mark on the Cartuja Center with an intimate, visceral and passionate recital, for which all tickets had been sold out weeks ago.
It was the largest audience—festivals excluded—in front of which Guitarrica has appeared in its still short but brilliant career. Thus, he enters the final stretch of a theater concert tour that culminates this Thursday at the Teatro Campos in Bilbao . Nine of the eleven performances were sold out, a sign of the public's growing recognition of the Valencian artist.
The next chapter of his career will be a new trip to Latin America , where he will participate in some of the most important festivals of the season, such as Lollapalooza Argentina (March 17), Vive Latino in Mexico City (March 19) and the Pal Norte de Monterrey (March 31). In addition, he will offer some concerts that he will announce soon.
Guitarrica collects the fruits of an album as sensational as La Cantera, published in 2022: a huge leap for an artist with already international projection.
