In her "fourth child," the singer transcends the barrier of music to create an imaginary universe, the ideal place to take refuge from reality. Belén Aguilera's new world draws from mythology, fantasy, and the dreamlike, creating an aesthetic that plays with baroque and surreal elements.

During the summer of 2023, Belén Aguilera embarked on a transformative journey that led her to work between the United States and Spain, with key stops in Mexico and Miami. During this period, the artist faced a decisive artistic challenge: "I wanted to step out of my comfort zone, find new sounds, styles, melodies, and myself." Starting from scratch, the singer dared to organically transform herself and reconnect with the ideal world she has lived in since childhood. The most mystical, lyrical, and theatrical Belén re-emerged, and in music, on stage, and in the visuals, Anela was born: a place to daydream and take refuge from the real world. The artist explains that this album is the ultimate expression of feeling and seeks to connect with all those who pursue their dreams, guided by intuition.

A story structured around emotions expressed through various themes and perspectives: songs like Salvamento, Cómo puedo volver or Se queda dentro, are an explicit emotional outpouring.Mientras que temas como Dama en apuros, Mutantes yBruja are more energetic and danceable, others like Laberinto, Ático and Eclipse have electronic rhythms. And it is that Anela begins a new artistic stage characterized by a return to organic sounds and the blending of musical genres, with a strong presence of strings in different variations. “It’s a less literal, more abstract way of writing,” because Belén Aguilera has become a pop diva without forgetting her singer-songwriter roots, and that’s why she has playfully experimented with melodies on an album where she was responsible for the composition and arrangements of all the tracks. The creative process involved producers like Puche, Naisgai, Nusar3000, and Lionel Castra, among others. Additionally, Seitrack has been a key partner during the project's development in LATAM and the US. Anela is a work that Belén began constructing before joining Sony Music, the result of a personal and artistic search that took shape between Spain, Mexico, and the United States.

The new musical chapter comes with a new image centered around an innovative concept: ‘Anela’, an acronym for "Aunque No Exista La Arcadia" (Even If Arcadia Doesn't Exist), a phrase from the final closing song that expresses happiness in the present rather than in the constant pursuit of desire. A conceptual album that evokes a different, surreal, abstract, and dreamlike world. The songs, staging, and visuals, hand-in-hand with Santa Mónica, utilize fantastic, mythological symbols, through which Belén Aguilera has aimed to create her own Arcadia, one that leaves behind the idyllic to become a world of light where magic exists, even if it coexists with shadow.

The piano was the instrument to thank. Belén Aguilera began playing self-taught and soon transitioned to homemade covers on social media. In 2020, she debuted in the Spanish pop scene with her first album, Como Ves, No Siempre He Sido Mía…, which included singles like Mía, reaching the Top 10 in sales in Spain. In 2022, she released Superpop, once again becoming one of the best-selling albums nationwide. Inteligencia Emocional, Camaleón and La Tirita, entered the Top 200, and the latter, in collaboration with Lola Índigo, ranked in the Top 50 Spain, earning her first Gold Record. Since then, Belén Aguilera's music has not left the viral charts of platforms like Spotify, achieving her first solo Gold Record in 2023.

Her EP Metanoia boosted her international projection and consolidated her position nationally with sold-out shows, including a double performance at the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in Madrid and Razzmatazz in Barcelona. This 2025, the singer is immersed in Anela, welcoming her new phase with almost all tickets sold for her concert at the Movistar Arena in Madrid next October, and with an essential date at the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona next November, which has already sold out.
